My creative non-fiction flash, On Tenterhooks, appeared on 101 Words in July 2022.

Bandit Fiction published two of my short stories, Kindness, of a Sort and BFH, at the beginning of December 2021, and in April 2022 featured Kindness, of a Sort on their monthly podcast, along with a brief interview with myself.

In October 2021, my flash fiction, Rainbow Rumble, appeared on Selcouth Station.

Trying to Contact the Living was featured by Flash Fiction Magazine in August 2021.

I was delighted to appear on Free Flash Fiction in August 2021 with Riding High.

Fidelity received a second airing on 26th June 2021 as part of National Flash Fiction Day's tenth annual FlashFlood Journal.

My micro-fiction, Of Course I Feel Awful, But appeared on The Drabble in May 2021.

Fictive Dream featured Fidelity during their Flash Fiction February 2021.

Things to Remember on Waking, a 75-word flash fiction, appeared on Paragraph Planet on 12th November 2020.

In November 2019 Edgware Road was featured on Eunoia Review.  Before this, the story was only available as part of the 'Southern Universities Short Story Competition Winners' ebook published in 2014 by The London Magazine.

I was delighted to make my second appearance on Spelk at the beginning of October 2019, with flash fiction Grass.

I read an extended version of Shadow of the Highway for T'Articulation's Cauldron of Darkness, held at Southsea Castle, in November 2018, as part of that year's Portsmouth Darkfest.

In May 2018 I read at Canvas Coffee as part of T'Articulation's Strong Women spoken word event. My story, The Strong Woman Academy, was specially written for the day.

I was one of fourteen writers involved in Writing Edward King: Cityscapes of Portsmouth, a literature project inspired by the Portsmouth paintings of artist Edward King (1862-1951) who resided at St James' Hospital, Milton (formerly Portsmouth Borough Asylum) for 25 years until his death.  My contribution was a short story, The Ruins of St Thomas' Street, named after King's painting of the same name.  Various events ran between mid-May and early June 2017, including performances at The New Theatre Royal and Portsmouth Museum, free creative writing workshops for adults and children, and pop-up readings. 

Early December 2016 saw the publication of 'Octomorphosis', a little book of unrealist stories generated by a workshop I co-ran for Portsmouth Writers' Hub, and inspired by the paintings of Jon Everitt.  The book includes my short story Comfort, as well as a few of my creative writing tips.  

At the end of October 2016 I had the pleasure of taking part in my second Day of the Dead, reading a variation of my, at the time unpublished, short story, Comfort. Additional photos and the full line up of performers can be found here, and here.

I was fortunate enough to have work selected for two short story collections published towards the end of 2016.   'Day of the Dead', features The Last Days of Winter as well as new story Tarmo and Arayla, and was officially launched during Day of the Dead iv: Shhhh on 30th October at Portsmouth's Square Tower.  Copies can be ordered via the publisher, Life is Amazing.  'Dark City', a collection of supernatural tales based in Portsmouth, including my own Killing Time, launched at the end of November as part of Portsmouth Darkfest.

My short story Insight appeared on Spelk Fiction in August 2016.

I was delighted to hear that 1917 had been shortlisted for the West Sussex Writers/Worthing WOW Festival 2016 Flash Fiction Competition in May 2016.

In early 2016, I took part in a short series of workshops, run by Hampshire Cultural Trust, to create literary responses to their 'Defining Movements: a journey through British Modern Art' exhibition.  A selection of the writing generated, including two of my flash fictions, was subsequently made available within the exhibition, and also published on HCT's website, together with photographs taken during the workshop sessions.

Mysterious Ways was published by short story website Storgy in November 2015, accompanied by a specially commissioned illustration.

In October 2015, I was invited to read The Last Days of Winter as part of Day of the Dead iii, a wonderfully mysterious and macabre evening of storytelling, poetry and music held at the Square Tower in Old Portsmouth.  You can read more about the evening here.

Half A Cup appeared on FlashFlood on 27th June 2015, as part of National Flash Fiction Day.

Convincing, But Not Real was one of only two stories featured in the Spring 2015 issue of Swarm.  The story was later mentioned in a Writers Write article penned by Dan Brotzel, examining second person narration in short fiction.

My short story Inkubation was featured by Litro, in April 2015, as part of their online #StorySunday series.

Shaun received a second outing in April 2015, as part of FlashFlood's sixth online journal of flash fiction.

Playback was been included in a fairytale themed collection of stories, published in August 2014, by Alfie Dog Fiction.  Called Thrice Upon A Time, the collection was available as an ebook or paperback. 

I was delighted to be named among the winners of The London Magazine's Southern Universities Short Story Competition in February 2014.   All twelve winning stories - including my own, Edgware Road - have been collected within an ebook, which is now available via Amazon.

My flash fiction, Love?, was featured by Paragraph Planet on 7th October 2013.

Fiction on the Web selected my short story Amethyst Cloud as the editor's Pick of the Month in September 2013.

In January 2011 my micro fiction Shaun was featured in the Winter 2011 edition of The New Writer magazine (Issue 105).

Literary website Metazen published my flash fiction Shadow of the Highway in November 2010.

My short story Playback appeared on Bewildering Stories in October 2010.

The Last Days of Winter was published by The Pygmy Giant in May 2010.

In November 2009 The Snow Bride was illustrated and featured in New Fairy Tales (Issue 4).

Long Story Short chose The Lure of the Sea as their Story of the Month for November 2009, later selecting it as their Story of the Year for 2009.

Until August 2018 four of my stories  -  Sidney Deller, Promises and Obligations, Playback and The Snow Bride  -  were available as ereader compatible downloads via Alfie Dog Fiction.  Sadly, the publisher no longer carries, or offers, individual short stories for sale on their site.
